Our island tour begins with a visit to the breathtaking Wat Plai Laem temple complex. There’s so much to explore here, including the temple itself, a stunning statue of the Chinese goddess Guanyin, and a playful statue of the grinning monk Budai. All of these incredible sights are situated in the middle of a beautiful fishpond, and you can reach them by crossing over charming footbridges. Don’t forget to bring your camera, as you won’t want to miss capturing the beauty of this incredible place.
The towering 12-meter-high Buddha statue is an iconic symbol of Koh Samui, and you can usually spot it from the plane as you approach the island. This incredible statue is situated on a small offshore island, which you can easily access by vehicle via a raised driveway. Seeing the statue up close is an unforgettable experience, and the views from the island are simply breathtaking. Don’t forget to bring your camera and snap some photos of this incredible landmark.
Situated atop a small hill near Chaweng is a stunning pagoda-shaped temple that boasts a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding area. From this incredible vantage point, you can take in breathtaking views of Chaweng, including the picturesque Chaweng Lake. On the other side, you’ll have a fantastic view of the airport and the sea stretching all the way to the neighboring island of Koh Phangan.As part of our island tour, we’ll take you to a fascinating viewpoint located between Chaweng and Lamai. During our tour, we’ll take you to Crystal Bay, also known as Silver Beach, which is widely considered one of the most stunning beaches on Koh Samui. This incredible destination is the perfect place to unwind and relax, whether you prefer to lounge on the soft white sand or cool off in the refreshing, crystal-clear waters of the sea. You’ll have plenty of time to soak up the beauty of this incredible spot and make some unforgettable memories.
At noon we will provide an authentic a’la Carte Thai meal in a local restaurant.
At Wat Sila Ngu we make a short stop to take pictures of the temple. The interesting thing about this temple is the design. All temple walls and the elements carved inside of them are made of terracotta. After visiting this temple our Koh Samui island tour continues.
This well-known mummy of the monk Luang Por Dang is located inside the temple “Wat Kunaram”. The monk died in 1973 and has not decayed ever since, although he has not been preserved in any way. He is in a remarkably preserved condition. Only the empty eye sockets are not nice to look at and were therefore covered with dark sunglasses.
The Na Muang Waterfall 1 falls from a height of 18.5 meters into a natural pool below. If you like to, you can enjoy a short swim inside this pool and refresh yourself before hitting back to your hotel.
The waterfall was our last stop of the Island tour. From here we will take you back to your hotel.
