ECO Jungle Safari Koh Samui

11.00 amGrandfather and Grandmother rocks (Hinta – Hin Yai)

here you will see a bizarre rock formation created by nature. These 2 rocks are pretty much reminding of the male and female genitals. On the way from the parking lot to the rocks are several small shops. Many of the local dealers offer a Samui specialty which is a homemade Coconut caramel. This local sweet cannot be found anywhere else on the entire island.

11.30-12.30Na Muang Waterfalls

Na Muang Waterfall 1 is one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the island and falls down from a height of 18.5 meters into a natural pool below were you have time to swim. For a little extra fee, there are 2 activity options inside an amusement park nearby the Na Muang Waterfall 2. The first option is a 65-meter long water slide right through the rain forest. The second option is a trial of 2 Zip Line stations you glide through the trees of the dense jungle.

12.45 pmMummified Monk

Inside the Kunaram temple you can see the mummy of a real monk. Interesting is that the monk was in no way preserved, but internally dried out and therefore did not decompose. Por Lung Daeng, as the monk was called, spent much of his life meditating. With a premonition, he left the option in his will that he would like to be preserved for posterity should he not rot.

1.15 pmLunch Time

After visiting the mummy, we will drive OFF-ROAD into the outbacks of Samui. In a mountain restaurant we provide a typical Thai set menu consisting of 5 different dishes. With the lunch comes a bottle of water. Other beverages are also available but have to be paid for.

2.15 pmMagic Garden

The Magic Garden is located in the middle of the jungle and on a height of 600 meters. Here, Tar Nim (Uncle Nim), created a hidden oasis with many Buddhist figures and lots of little details at the age of 77. Until his death he kept working on it for another 14 years and thus built his own monument. This idyllic place is in a valley with a small waterfall that ends in a creek which flows between the statues through the entire garden.

3.00 pmVisit to the mountain farmers

During the off-road trip through the islands rain forest you visit the mountain farmers. They will give you an introduction of their local fruit cultivation. Furthermore, you will learn about the technique that is used to extract the rubber from the tree bark.

5.15-5.30 pmTransfer back to your hotel

The Big Buddha is our last stop. After visiting this temple complex you will be taken back to your accommodation.
